Rates, Schedules & Tariffs
The following pages contain information about the cost of your water service, water rates and other information affecting your monthly bill. Beginning in late November, we will implement new conservation tiered rates which include a lower monthly service charge in most of our Region II and III service territories in Southern California. The tiered rates will financially encourage residential customers to use less water by charging them more per unit of water (CCF) for usage above the first tier. The company also has filed for tiered rates in Region I and expects a decision from the CPUC early in 2009. Region II. Click here for our customer notice about tiered rates for our Region II customers. GSWC’s Region II Service Area serves approximately 100,000 customers in all or portions of Artesia, Bell, Bell Gardens, Carson, Cerritos, Compton, Cudahy, Culver City, Downey, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, Huntington park, Inglewood, Lakewood, La Mirada, Lawndale, Long Beach, Norwalk, Paramount, Santa Fe springs, South Gate, Athens, Lennox, Willowbrook, Moneta, Florence-Graham, Del Aire, and portions of Los Angeles County. Golden State Water Company in July filed a General Rate Case (GRC) application with the California Public Utilities Commission for most of its Southern California service area. If approved, the filing would result in more than $100 million in infrastructure improvements through the end of 2012. Customers in the affected regions can see a news release and fact sheet about the filing by selecting their location from the drop down menu below. If your area is not affected by the rate case filing, you can still use the drop down menu to link to current information about the cost of your water service, water rates and other information affecting your monthly bill. Specific questions regarding regulatory issues may be directed to: regulatoryaffairs@gswater.com. Select your community to find out more about your rates.
