Golden State Water Plans to Invest Approximately $115 Million in Infrastructure Projects in 2019
In honor of the 7th Annual Infrastructure Week, Golden State Water Company (Golden State Water) would like to highlight our plans to invest approximately $115 million this year for water infrastructure projects in our service areas throughout California.
“A well-maintained infrastructure should always be a top priority for any water provider to ensure water quality and service reliability aren’t compromised,” said Denise Kruger, Senior Vice President of Regulated Utilities for Golden State Water. “We proactively invest to maintain and improve our infrastructure, so customers never have to think twice about their water service.”
Golden State Water’s statewide infrastructure currently includes approximately 2,800 miles of pipe, 200 groundwater wells, 400 booster pump stations, 25,000 hydrants and four surface-water treatment plants that must be maintained properly to deliver drinking water to more than one million Californians.
