Important Water Quality Alert

Water samples recently taken in the Clearlake service area confirmed that the water served to customers meets all drinking water health guidelines for cyanotoxins and other conditions commonly associated with algal blooms in freshwater bodies. Golden State Water’s treatment process is effective at removing any cyanotoxins potentially found in the source water, and sampling confirms that the toxins have not been detected in the drinking water.  Golden State Water, the California Division of Drinking Water and the Lake County Public Health Department will continue monitoring conditions at Clear Lake.
