More than $6.5 million in infrastructure improvements are planned for 2020 in the Central Basin West service area.

Sample Station Replacement
Los Angeles, Bell, Bell Gardens and South Gate

Project Timeline:
Feb. 19, 2020 – March 25, 2020

Construction crews will work to replace 30 sample stations.

This project will ensure Golden State Water can continue taking reliable and accurate samples in the local distribution system for water quality testing.

Construction crews worked to:

  • Install 5,400 feet of pipeline
  • Install 14 fire hydrants
  • Install 122 services

This project will improve the distribution system and ensure Golden State Water can continue providing reliable water service to local customers.

$2.17 million

Project Timeline:
August 29, 2018 – December 2018

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday (No weekends or holidays)
7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Construction crews worked to:

  • Install 1.26 miles (6,670 LF) of water pipeline
  • Install 12 fire hydrants
  • Install 181 services

This project will improve the distribution system and ensure Golden State Water can continue providing reliable water service to local customers.

  • Install 15,650 ft. of new water pipe
  • Install 411 new service lines
  • Install 33 new fire hydrants
