Meter Replacements Starting November 10
Beginning Monday, November 10, Golden State Water Company contractors from Concord Utility Services will begin replacing water meters at homes and businesses in your area.
Currently, your water meter is read manually by a Golden State Water employee. The new meters will allow readings to be collected more efficiently through a “drive-by” system, improving accuracy and reducing operational impacts.
Please note that your water service will be interrupted during this process for a duration of 15 to 20 minutes, on average. Contractors will need access to your water meter, so we kindly ask that you ensure the area around it is clear and accessible.
We will share a follow-up message with customers with more information on when work will begin in your neighborhood. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we complete this important upgrade to continue delivering safe, reliable water service to your community.
