2026 General Rate Case (2028-30)

The rates proposed for 2028-2030 will provide customers in the Central Basin East Service Area with long-term value by investing nearly $77 million in local water infrastructure essential to delivering safe, high-quality, and reliable drinking water. 

Proposed investments include replacing aging treatment equipment at Centralia Well No. 6 and replacing 7.2 miles of aging pipelines. These pipeline replacements will help improve water quality, strengthen system reliability, and reduce the risk of costly and disruptive main breaks. Additional projects will strengthen system connectivity, support service to newly acquired customers, and improve security and facilities at the Imperial and Meyer plant sites. Together with the company’s ongoing investments in water treatment technology and fire hydrants that support public safety, new investments will help maintain safe drinking water standards and reliable service for the community.

Current & Upcoming Projects

Hawaiian Gardens – Water Main Replacement

Location:  213th St, 214th St, 215th St, 216th St, Tilbury St, E. Carson St, Claretta Ave, Belshire Ave, Norwalk Blvd and the alley east of Norwalk Blvd.

Project Timeline: March 2026 - November 2026

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday (No weekends or holidays)
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Construction crews will work to:

  • Install new water main and fire hydrants.

Norwalk – Systemwide Drought Tolerant Landscaping

Location:  Pioneer Plant 1: 11508 Pioneer Blvd, Norwalk, CA 90650 and Pioneer Plant 3: 11505 Pioneer Blvd, Norwalk, CA 90650 in Central District

Project Timeline: May 2025 – June 2025

Studebaker Well No. 3
Near the intersection of Studebaker Road and Cecilia Street

$1.132 million
