An example of an investment in water infrastructure in your local area is the Government Canyon Site Improvement Project. The project significantly enhances operational efficiency, safety and system reliability by addressing several critical deficiencies that previously limited access and posed operational challenges. 

Upgrades included construction of a new chemical building to replace the deteriorated storage area, expansion of working space for water pumping equipment through a new concrete pad and enclosure, and replacement of deteriorated outdoor electrical panels and instrumentation controls. These improvements enhance the reliability of a vital water supply source for the Wrightwood community and support safer, more efficient operations for field personnel.
