Post

Golden State Water Company is committed to responsibly maintaining local water infrastructure so we can continue providing customers with premium water service so they never have to think twice about the quality of their water. To fulfill this commitment, we are is making proactive investments to upgrade water supply and delivery facilities, creating sustainable, long-term value for the communities we serve. These forward-looking investments help prevent the costly and sometimes dangerous impacts of deferred maintenance or aging infrastructure, while ensuring a resilient water system for the future.

An example of an investment in water infrastructure in your local area is the Mojave Booster, Reservoir and Generator Project (Morongo Del Sur). The project includes the construction of a 0.4 Million Gallon (MG) steel reservoir to increase water storage capacity for emergency and fire suppression purposes. It also features a new booster station equipped with three pumps, each capable of delivering 150 gallons per minute, strengthening supply reliability within the Morongo Del Sur system.

Additionally, a stationary generator was installed to ensure uninterrupted operations during planned or emergency power outages, including Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events. With a preliminary substantial completion date of December 30, 2025, the project enhances system reliability and helps ensure safe, dependable water service for customers now and for years to come.
